Some shots of Valencia

Taken East of Bouquet Canyon along the new Newhall Ranch Road.  Even though it's not in Newhall.  Go figure.  This is a random mix of photos.

When you need to hide your mountain from onlookers, an Andy Gump fence is a good choice of course.  However, it is important to check the height of the mountain.  This fence is too low and the mountain peeks (peaks?) (piques?) over.  Its like those changing rooms where they cover your mid section but not your legs or shoulders as you try on a pair of pants.

Off to the races.  On your mark, get set.  Seems like we have some of the broadest of thoroughfares in Valencia.  You're looking at 7 lanes of oncoming traffic there.

Mud and water.  Sounds like a song.  Like scotch and soda.  But with nicer reflections.

Drain puddle remnant.  On sale now, 20% off.

Totally tubular.  Except for the bumps and dents.

Trees and Cacti

Some plant life located in Valencia.

Dead tree.

Artwork as dead tree.  Reach for the stars.

Cactus with fruit.

Cactus in situ with surroundings.

Signs of Valencia

Those creative sign merchants are finding more signs to sell to the city every week.

Unfortunately the city could only afford doggie bags for dogs, and not for horsies.

Because at night the reflectors will warn you before you speed walk into the fence.

Love the picture.  When's the movie coming out?

I like to KEEP too.  And keep a pole in between you at all times.

Some of those fences along the paseos of Valencia

Fencing galore.  Designed to keep the horses and the pedestrians and the bicyclists all happy at the same time.

Because all fencing should be outfitted with funky cable wires.

Don't go here.  If we'd wanted you to go here, we would leave the doors unlocked.

More fencing.  It goes on for a long time.  This is a school bus crossing zone.  Or maybe a horse crossing.  Because horses like yellow striped cross walks.

Shiny!  And the trampoline.

Fence shadows keep shadows out.
