Larchmont District Shops

Visited the Larchmont district near Melrose and Vine over by the Wilshire country club.  These are pictures of some of the shops.

Barber shop has been here for quite some time, from before this was a happening area.

Alley way for tenants only.  No deliveries, so what's the point?  Are we talking residential tenants?  And not commercial tenants?

I like the green paint job for the Avocado Grill, but I'm less certain about visiting an all-green skin care and massage mini-spa.  Perhaps Kermit might enjoy a visit?

Please, step into my back parlour for cookies and milk.  Over here is the master bedroom suite and down this hallway you can find the children's bedrooms.  Can you imagine spending 8 work hours a day in this?  Where do you take breaks?  And the bathroom?

One of the less quainter (is that a word?) establishments.

Santa Monica near Sepulveda

I visited south of campus and took a few shots there. I haven't posted in a while, I've got a new OS, new laptop, new monitor, new picture tools and blogger has been updated as well. Hopefully the pictures are still good.

Door handles.  I may need to go back and get a better shot of those handles, just hanging in the air.

Words floating in space.  I'm feeling dyslexic right about now.

Tall building, and its not mobile.  I wonder if anyone has told Exxon-Mobil that they have been misspelling mobile all these years?

Is that AT&T water?

Camera tends to saturate with bright colors.  Pretty pink flowers.

She just looks uncomfortable to me.  Like Sue in Glee after something good happens.  Plus there's only 2 hour parking.

LA County prison facility number three hundred and twenty.

Mini-mall over shadowed by tall non-mobile building.

Reflections of coffee past, coffee present, and coffee yet to come.

Blue Buildings in Miami Beach

Here are the blue buildings.  These range from blue to aqua.  Blue trim qualifies a structure as much as a fully blue building.

The Parisian Hotel with blue and yellow trim.  Next door is Hotel Eva, with Eva's restaurant downstairs with good Cuban food.

The Riviere.  Miami Beach is packed with these delightful modest sized Art Deco buildings.

Blue grid sun roof.

The Lincoln Arms, which I passed each day of the conference going from my hotel to the conference center.  Not sure what happened to the Lincoln Feet.  The Lincoln Head is inside.

The canonical fully blue from stem to stern blue building.  Even the parking sign is blue.

How could they paint Aqua any other color?  This is only a couple buildings up the street from the Parisian.
